Supplies needed

Tube of choice I used Suzanne Woolcott’s daisy fairy Thanks artwork of © Suzanne Woolcott
Licence can be purchased from Artistic Minds Inc
Brushes used smudges from touchstones art
Font of choice I used Bradley Hand ITC font

This tutorial has been written so you can make the tag the easy way with my supplied animation or for those who would like to make there own animation and learn how I made it you need to when told move to the 2nd tutorial and there notes to tell you were to skip to it

Open white Canvas 600 x 600

At end of the tutorial resize tag or if you prefer working smaller use a smaller size

Hide the white layer for now click the eye symbol on layer palette

Set foreground colour to white, X out background colour

Preset shape > Rectangle > stroke white fill null > line width 7 > right click on layer palette and convert to raster layer

> rename layer Frame 1

Raster deform tool > click arm in middle and twist to desired position

Effects > 3d effects > drop shadow > setting below repeat

Right click on layer and duplicate > image > mirror > rename frame 2

Right click on frame one > arrange > bring to top

Open daisy fairy tube > select picture tube > crop tool > and draw round so we remove the white edge on her original image tube

> apply to crop

Image copy > image paste > use raster deform tool to position

Right click on layer > duplicate use raster deform tool to move picture into position

Rename both your tube layers frame pic 1 and 2

Select magic wand tool > click inside frame 1 > selections > modify by 2 > new raster layer > flood fill with white > rename 1

Select magic wand tool > click inside frame 2 > selections > modify by 2 > new raster layer > flood fill with white > rename 2

You now need to arrange you layer palette to look like the picture below

X out frame2 frame pic 2, and 2

Lower the opacity down on frame pic 1 to 80 > right click on layer > merge > merge visible

Rename merge layer frame1 > X out frame 1

Un-X out frame2 frame pic 2, and 2

Lower the opacity down on frame pic 2 to 80 > right click on layer > merge > merge visible

Rename merge layer frame2 > Un-X out frame 1

Select dropper > click on leaf to get foreground colour

New raster layer position below both frames > brush > 009 touchstone 005

her site isn’t loading at present but any smudge brush will do and go round edges of your two frames

Text tool > background colour black > Bradley Hand ITC font > 12 > type Spring makes the world a happy place..

Image > rotate > free rotate

Position text up left side of frame 1 > use raster deform tool if not level > right click on layer and raster layer

Text tool > background colour black > Bradley Hand ITC font > 12 > you see a smile on every face.> right click on layer and raster layer

Text tool > background colour black > Bradley Hand ITC font > 12 > Busy bees are humming.......

Image > rotate > free rotate > change dot from left to right

Position text down the right side of frame 2 > use raster deform tool if not level > right click on layer and raster layer

Open daisy fairy tube > select daisy tube > image > copy > image paste new layer

Image > resize 78 > make sure you un-tick all layers

Position daisy bottom left corner of frame one

Effects > 3d effects > drop shadow > setting below

If your are going to do the bee animation yourself do not do this next daisy

Duplicate daisy > image > mirror > image> flip

> Your daisy should be in the top right corner of frame 2 now

Open daisy fairy tube > select girl tube > image > copy > image paste new layer

Image > resize 90 > make sure you un-tick all layers

Effects > 3d effects > drop shadow > settings used earlier but tick shadow on separate layer and move shadow a layer a little to left

Text tool > background colour black > Bradley Hand ITC font > 60> type name

Add copyright text to image

Right click on layer palette and merge visible

Image > resize canvas to 700 x 700

(Don’t worry about the size we will resize the finished tag at the end)

If you are using my supplies animated bee follow step 1

If you want to make animated bee and finish the tag yourself click here

STEP 1

Save and open in animation shop

Open It'sabee-yooo-tifuldayBee > delete copyright layer by click that frame > hit delete on keyboard

Select out tag layer frame > right click on it > duplicate till you have 6 frames

Edit select all now all your tag frames will have a blue halo around them

View> zoom in by 5

Select It'sabee-yooo-tifuldayBee frame 1 > edit > select all till they all have a blue halo around them

Now make sure the arrow is selected

While holding down the left mouse clicker drag frame 1 of It'sabee-yooo-tifuldayBee onto frame 1 of tag > position top right corner

Click view> animation to make sure the tag animation is running correctly if not

Click undo on both your tag frame and then on your It'sabee-yooo-tifuldayBee

Tip when u select your 6 frames of tag or It'sabee-yooo-tifuldayBee click on the blue bar were it says animation that way it will not deselect all the blue halos from around your frames if it does simply Repeat edit > select all

Select crop tool > draw round excess of tag > click view animation to check we haven’t cropped out any information if happy

Edit > select all > they should all have a blue halo > animation > frame properties > 35

Animation > resize > 75
