Week 9 Mini kit weekly colour scheme challenge by

Click links then Resource downloads go to last page Mini Kits for my weekly colour scheme challenge and we want week 9
Open SSAM_TagTemplate1 > Duplicate by holding down SHIFT + D. Close the original.
Image > Canvas size > width 650 height 550 this will just give us a bit more area to work with and don’t worry about the size we shall resize at end
Set foreground colour to white > select background layer on template > fill in the transparent areas we just added
Select white background on template Open P4 paper > edit > copy > edit > paste paper as new layer
Image > resize by 80 (make sure all layers is un-ticked)
Layers > load/save mask > load from disk > WSL_Mask289 > settings below

Right click on mask layer in layer palette > merge group
Change blend mode to luminance on mask layer
Open p6 paper > edit > copy > Select slats layer on template > selections > select all > selections > float > selections > defloat
Right click on template layer > paste > paste into selection > selections > select none
Now I want my slats layer rotated to be same but if I paste the paper in the lines wont be same so
Selections tool > settings below draw around bottom slat on layer > right click on layer in layer palette > promote selection to layer > selections none

Move the promotes layer to above Slat Rotated layer in layer palette > pick tool > hover mouse over Node see pick below it will then change to two arrows once this happens turn to desired position to match slats rotated layer

Right click on slat rotated layer > delete
Open p1 paper > X-Out Foreground colour > click on Background colour > and the material properties box will appear > click paper tab > now in the preview window > click and browse for our paper > change the angle to 0 and set the scale to 30 > click ok

Preset tools > ellipse > Select circle shape on tool bar > draw a circle > see finished tag for sizing > right click on circle layer in layer palette > convert to raster layer
Move circle layer in layer palette to below square layer in layer palette
Pick tool > position circle > top left corner behind the rectangle see finished tag
Selections > Modify > expand by 1 > Right click on template layer > paste > paste into selection > selections > select none
* Set foreground colour to Black > select square layer on template layer > selections > select all > selections > float > selections > defloat
Flood fill tool and fill the square with black*
Repeat * process for the rectangle layer
Duplicate mask layer > move to above square layer in layer palette
Magic wand tool > select square layer > click inside and it will be come anti- alias > selections > invent

Select Duplicated mask layer in layer palette > hit delete key on keyboard > drop opacity on duplicated mask layer to 89 > selections > select none
Duplicate Original mask layer > move to above rectangle layer in layer palette
Magic wand tool > select rectangle layer > click inside and it will be come anti- alias > selections > invent
Select Duplicated mask layer in layer palette > hit delete key on keyboard > drop opacity on duplicated mask layer to 89 > selections > select none
Click on foreground colour in material palette > change html code in bottom box to #c80b45
Select heart layer in layer palette > selections > select all > selections > float > selections > defloat
Selections > Modify > expand by 1 > flood fill with pink colour > selections > select none
Open Guss2_by_punkrockguy Single tube if your using same tube as me > image resize by 82 > edit > copy > paste as new layer
Position over your heart layer to desire position > see finished tag
Drop opacity to 39 on tube layer > select free hand selection tool > lasso
Settings below
Select heart layer > and draw round the edge of the heart and around the excess tube area with the lasso click often with left mouse corner > click smaller bits gives you a better edge and smoother line > when back to the beginning right click on mouse clicker and it should now of become Anti-Alias

Select tube layer while still Anti-alias > Hit delete key on keyboard to delete excess area of tube > selections > select none
Return opacity back to 100 on tube layer
Select heart layer > Plug-In > eye candy 4000 > gradient glow > fat

Apply to heart > repeat again
Open WordArt4_Love_ByRachel_ScrapsOfEnchantment08 > Duplicate by holding down SHIFT + D. Close the original.
Select the letter L > Plug-in filters unlimited 2.0 > colour effects > black and white
Setting below

Repeat this plug-in effect on all the letters VE and Heart layer
Select heart layer > edit > copy > paste as new layer > move to desired position
Select L layer > edit > copy > paste as new layer > image resize by 85 > position on template
Select V layer > edit > copy > paste as new layer > image resize by 85 > position on template
Select E layer > edit > copy > paste as new layer > image resize by 85 > position on template
Add a new raster layer below the Letter L layer > Magic wand tool > same settings as before > now this sounds complicated but it’s a quicker way I find
Select the letter L layer > click inside L > while its antis-alias > hold down the shift key > KEEP IT HELD DOWN till I tell you to unhold it > now select the Letter V layer > click inside V > select the letter E layer and click inside that with magi wand too
We should now have the Letter L V E all anti – aliased > selections > expand by 1
Select our newly added layer in layer palette > flood fill tool and fill each letter
Add a new raster layer below the heart Letter layer > Magic wand tool > click inside heart Letter > select new added raster layer > flood fill tool fill
Now all your letters should all have fill in them
Effects > 3d effects > drop shadow > settings below

Add a drop shadow to the entire letters layer L V E and heart
Select tube layer Guss2_by_punkrockguy > Effects > 3d effects > drop shadow > tick on a separate layer > apply
Pick tool and move drop shadow layer a little to the left > see finished tag
Set foreground colour to black > background colour to #c80b45
Text tool > Font UglyQua italic > size 44 > stroke width 1 > Lost Without > right click on text layer > convert to raster layer
Image > rotate > settings below

Effects > 3d effects > drop shadow > Un-tick on a separate layer > apply
Text tool > but this time change size to 72 type your name > right click on text layer > convert to raster layer
Image > rotate > same settings as before
Effects > 3d effects > drop shadow > same setting we just used > apply
Crop tool > draw around excess white area on tag > click the green tick to apply
If tag is to large for you > image > resize > tick all layer > resize by 85
Text tool > size 10 > no stroke > add your copyright information © Mattt Poser, http://myspace.com/mattposerdesigns,License number > covert to raster layer
