Supplies needed

This Tutorial was inspired by a Rock song called Metal Queen a song from the 80’s Omg showing my age badly here

This tutorial is written for psp9

Font of choice I used Felix Titling

Open white Canvas 600 x 600

At end of the tutorial resize tag or if you prefer working smaller use a smaller size

Open pillowgirl-schoolrockspaper2 > Image > resize > frame by 15 > edit > copy > paste as new layer

Layers> load/saved mask > BflyFlbyMask16 > Settings below > Right click on layer > merge > merge group

Open pillowgirl-schoolrockspaper3 > X-Out background colour > click the square of colour on foreground colour > the material properties box will open > click pattern tab top > see below then click the coloured square > scroll for your paper it should be at the top of the box

Preset tool > ellipse > circle > draw a circle to cover the striped lines > right click on layer in layer palette > convert to raster layer

Adjust brightness and contrast > brightness /contrast > set both Values to 35 > click ok

Effects > 3d effects > drop shadow > settings below > apply to circle layer

Open pillowgirl-schoolrockslayover2 > Image > resize > frame by 11 > Image > rotate > free rotate > left > place a dot in 90 > make sure all layers is un-ticked > edit > copy > paste as new layer

Right click on pillowgirl-schoolrockslayover2 paper layer > duplicate

On original paper layer > image > resize by 90

Rotate > free rotate > settings below

Right click on original paper layer > duplicate > image > mirror > position papers as in pic above

Open pillowgirl-schoolrocksbanner > Image > resize > banner by 30 > edit > copy > paste as new layer > position at bottom of circle see finished tag

Effects > 3d effects > drop shadow > settings we used earlier

Open pillowgirl-schoolrockspencils > Image > resize > pencil by 40 > edit > copy > paste as new layer

Rotate > free rotate > settings we used earlier position to right hand side of paper

Right click on pencil layer in layer palette > duplicate layer > image > mirror

Click on Banner layer in layer palette > arrange > bring to top

Your tag should hopefully now look like the preview below

Select the large centre paper layer in layer palette > freehand selection tool > settings below > draw around edge of pencil and overlapping paper left click each point > right click on mouse to close > so it becomes Anti-Alias

While this is Anti-Alias > hold down the arrow key mine is located above the Ctrl key on the left hand side of my keyboard > while holding this key down > draw round the over lapping paper on the other side > now both bits should be Anti-Alias

When happy making sure we have the tall centre paper selected in layer palette > hit the delete key on your keyboard

Set background colour to white > X-Out foreground colour >Text tool > Felix Titling > size 10 > now I choose some lyrics from the song that inspired me but you can write anything you like > right click on text vector layer in layer palette > convert to raster layer

Drop opacity of text layer to 34> change blend mode on layer from normal > hard light

Select the large centre paper layer in layer palette > selections > select all > float > de-float > selections > invent

Select lyrics text layer in layer palette > hit delete key on your keyboard

Text tool > Felix Titling > size 60 > type Rock > twist at node at end of arm into desired position > see finished tag

Change blend mode on layer from normal > hard light

Text tool > Felix Titling > size 60 > type Rock > twist at node at end of arm into desired position > see finished tag > Change blend mode on layer from normal > hard light

Open psp8709-SCGarvey-MetalGirlToon if using same tube as I have > edit > copy > paste as new layer

Set foreground colour to white > X-Out background colour > preset tool > ellipse > ellipse shape > stroke width 2 > draw an ellipse under banner edge

Set Background colour to black > Text tool > Felix Titling > size 30 >type your name size may vary depending on number of letter in your name

Click on text vector layer > X-Out new ellipse > right click on layer and convert to raster layer

Effects > 3d effects > drop shadow > settings we used earlier

Text tool > size 10 > add copyright info > MPT license number

Crop tool> draw around excess white area of tag > click tick to apply

If you’d like a smaller size tag > image resize by 90 > make sure all layers is ticked
