Wheel OF Fortune
Supplies needed
Plug-in VM Natural Sparkle, Eye candy 4000Font of choice I used Berlin Sans FB Demi
Tube of your choice elegant-glance

Do not redistribute supplies they are for use with this tutorial only
And may not be used in any other tutorial without my permission
Grab a good cup of coffee you may need it although I have supplied the supplies
I also explain how I made then for those who wish to learn more
Open Psp 600 x 600 white back ground
Don’t worry if this size is too big we will resize at the end
Foreground colour black background colour X out
Preset tool> rectangle > foreground colour > black > draw a rectangle in the top third of your layer > line width 3
Now click the one the task bar the word MODE
And dots should appear round your rectangle at the corners and middles of each line
Hover mouse over top corner till the mover tool symbol appears careful drag the corner and its
should make a rounder corner as in my pic below
If you can’t get this process to work then Cheat yes you heard me cheat use a preset shape
Preset shape > rectangle > background colour black > foreground colour x out >
Draw a rectangle a little below the rectangle we have just drawn
NOW YOU'LL NOTICE THE CORNERS ARE ROUNDED STILL TO UNROUND THEM
Click the mode button in the tool bar again like we did for the first rectangle
> hover mouse over the corner till the mover cross appears and now drag the dot back to the corner
Convert to raster layer
Select Raster deform tool > Hold down SHIFT KEY > hover mouse over top left corner
till the symbol in pic below appears > and drag corner in slightly
Now repeat process for top right hand corner
Preset shape > rectangle > background colour black > foreground colour x out >
Draw a rectangle a little below the rectangle we have just drawn
Your work area should now look like this
Repeat process for 2nd step but draw the 2nd step a tag larger than first step
X- Out the Background layer and merge Visible > rename layer board
Select merged layer > Plug-in > eye candy 400 > settings Hard blue border > select colour tab change blue to white > click apply
Select magic wand tool > click inside the large board area > selections > modify > expand > by 3
Layer > new raster layer > flood fill > Foreground Colour Black > selections > select none
Select the new flood filled layer > effects > plug-in > VM Natural > sparkle > use settings below
Make sure your new flood fill layer is below the board layer
Select > board layer > in layer palette > right click > merge down
Effects > 3d effects > drop shadow > settings below
Open the Wheel of Fortune Board > edit copy > edit > paste > as new layer
Magic wand > select fortune board layer > Hold down SHIFT KEY and select the black squares you require
> whole the squares are antilised
Selections > modify > contract > set to 1
Set foreground colour to white > flood fill tool > fill each box that is antilised
Selections > select none
> You should be left with just your background layer, your board so far
Make sure this layer is above your board layer > right click >Merge visible
If you are using my supplied Wheel of Fortune Animated Wheel you need to skip this next part
Rejoin the tut where you see this * rejoin here if you are using the supplied animated wheel
Open the Wheel of Fortune Non Animated Wheel this is time consuming
But if you want different colours well worth it than just colourising or using change target
Orange colour #ffb541
Yellow colour #ffffa3
Pink colour #ffa3ff
Green colour #94ffc4
Select wheel 1 layer > magic wand > hold down SHIFT KEY > select every 4th piece of pie
Add a new raster layer and floods fill each pie with the orange colour
Selections > select none
Select wheel 2 layer > magic wand > hold down SHIFT KEY > selections > modify > expand
> by 2 select every piece of pie next to the one we selected for wheel 1
Add a new raster layer and floods fill each pie with the orange colour
Carry on this process for wheel 3 and four REMEMBERING TO ADD A NEW RASTER LAYER UNDER EACH WHEEL
Your layer should look like the pic below
Repeat this progress for each colour when u have done that
Merge wheel 1 down with raster 1
Merge wheel 2 down with raster 2
Merge wheel 3 down with raster 3
Merge wheel 4 down with raster 4
You now have your wheel completed save file
Save filed
open it in animation shop > edit > select all > edit copy > click on the last frame
> right click and paste after frame > repeat till you have 16 frames
* rejoin here if you are using the supplied animated wheel
Open tube elegant-glance Popeye Wong
Edit > copy > edit > paste as new layer remember to make sure when you place your girl
not to cover any of the white squares
Image > resize 70 > make sure all layers is un-ticked
Effects > plug-in > Eye Candy 4000 > settings diffuse yellow
Change colour to white > use settings below
Rename layer Girl
Text tool >Berlin Sans FB Demi > size 26 > X- out foreground colour set background colour to white
> type Schweetie Stalkers > covert to raster layer > rename layer text 1
Text tool >Berlin Sans FB Demi > size 12 > X- out foreground colour set background colour to black
> type © Popeye Wong > covert to raster layer > rename layer text 2
Text tool >Berlin Sans FB Demi > size will depend on your name > foreground colour white
> background colour to black stroke width 2
> Type name > covert to raster layer > rename layer text 3
Remember to leave room for the wheel to be added later
X –Out text, 2, right click on layer palette merge visible
You should now be left with just two layers your board and girl layer
Save your tag
Now you’re probably wondering where you add the wheel of fortune text instructions are
I have enclosed the text in the supplies as this tutorial was getting way to long
But if you have used your own text idea here’s how I did it briefly click text tool and typed each letter separate
and placed in the squares I then merged this layer > edit > copy > pasted as new layer duplicated till I had 16 layers in total
I left the first layer with all the text alone and then on each layer I deleted one letter leaving the last layer blank with no text and saved
yes don’t faint your finished whoooo now we just have to add the animated parts
Don’t worry we will resize tag in animation shop it works just as good as resizing tag in Psp
OPEN ANIMATION SHOP
Open your saved tag you will see you have 2 frames
Frame 1 your tag
Frame 2 your name
Click the arrow icon >Click frames no 2 a blue halo will appear around the frame when u have selected it
While holding down the left click on mouse > drag the frame to an empty space on your work area
Now you will have to separate images frames both names F1 this is located at bottom of the pic
Minimise your name frame we don’t need this till the end
Click on your tag frame 1 > right click on frame > select duplicate selected repeat till you have 16 frames
If you end up with more than 16 frames > click each frame and delete till you see f16 at end
Edit > select all > a blue halo will appear around all the frames
Open Text Wheel of Fortune supply click the copyright layer > hit delete on keyboard
Edit > select all > a blue halo will appear around all the frames
Left click mouse and Hold down mouse on F1 of text frames and drag on to F1 of tag frames
View >animation to check your animations working don’t worry about the speed we do that at the end
If everything’s working correctly > close Text Wheel of Fortune supply
Close Text Wheel of Fortune
Select Tag frame 1 > edit select all > animation reverse frames
Open Wheel of Fortune Animated Wheel supply click the copyright layer > hit delete on keyboard
Edit > select all > a blue halo will appear around all the frames
Left click mouse and Hold down mouse on F1 of animated wheel and drag on to F1 of tag frames
View >animation to check your animations working don’t worry about the speed we do that at the end
If everything’s working correctly > close Wheel of Fortune Animated Wheel supply

so you can save as a blank for future use and be able to make your friends this animated tag
Without having to redo the tut did I hear you shout hurray
Un- minimise your name frame > right click anywhere on the frame > duplicated selected
>repeat till you have 16 frames if you end up with more than 16 frames
> click each frame and delete till you see f16 at end
Edit > select all > a blue halo will appear around all the frames
Left click mouse and Hold down mouse on F1 of name frame and drag on to F1 of tag frames
View >animation to check your animations working don’t worry about the speed we do that at the end
If everything’s working correctly
Edit > select all > animation > frame properties > change to 30
Select crop tool > draw around tag > use mouse wheel to zoom in and out > hit the button marked crop
Now we need to resize our tag > Edit > select all > animation
Use settings below
Save file now crack open the champagne you finished
